Vestas Wind Systems, the world’s largest wind turbine maker, will supply equipment with about 83 megawatts of capacity to a major project in Poland.

The order is from Wind Field Korytnica Sp. for the Korytnica North project and is the third for Vestas in Poland in 2015.

Vestas, the Denmark-based manufacturer, will begin delivering and installing the 25 3.3-megawatt turbines in the fourth quarter.

The company made the announcement in a statement on Monday and the sale includes a 15-year service agreement.

Vestas has a market share in Poland of about 30 per cent and has installed almost 1.3 gigawatts of capacity, according to the statement.
