EuroAkadem would like to announce the Second International Scientific and Business Congress on Protecting the Climate - A World Joint Strategy under the theme "Localisation on Environmental Business and Supply Base in India".

In response to the Open Letter of the 1st Congress addressed to Dr Rajendra Pachauri, Chairman of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), Director-General of the Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), it was suggested to hold the 2nd Congress as a joint special eventduring the Delhi Sustainable Development Summit 2009 (DSDS 2009).

The 2nd Congress is scheduled from 3rd to 4th February 2009 in New Delhi, India with the theme: "Localisation on Environmental Business and Supply Base in India", which is planned to become an annual event in India.

The goal of the 2nd Congress is further development and transfer of clean technologies including focus on renewable energy, as well as the creation of a localisation program in India with the emphasis on private business and education with subsequent strategy transfer to other developing countries.

Euroakadem are also pleased to inform you that Dr Rajendra Pachauri is the Patron of the Congress and will participate in person with other dignitaries at the 2nd Congress with presentations based on experience of international and national policy background for attracting investors towards environmental business, with subsequent recommendations for the Indian market.

The Congress anticipates broad support from business, scientific and political leaders engaged in environmental activities.
