The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) invite you to the press launch - on World Environment Day 2009 - of a major new report by UNEP on the role of ecosystems in climate mitigation.
The report calls for the adoption of a comprehensive policy framework under the UNFCCC for addressing carbon management across all ecosystems.
Parties currently meeting in Bonn are starting to heed this call.The event is hosted by Kaveh Zahedi, UNEP's Climate Change Coordinator.Speaking at the press launch will be one of the report's authors, Dr Barney Dickson of UNEP World Conservation Monitoring Centre (+44 7590 655 975)
