PSI to showcase sustainable transport solutions at UITP 2013 World Congress

PSI Transcom with the PSI Electrical Energy business, will present their groundbreaking control technology solutions at the International Association of Public Transport (UITP) World Congress and Exhibition in Geneva from 27 to 29 May 2013.

PSI software is responsible for the efficient controlling of operational processes at transportation companies and the optimization of the railway electrical supply.

The UITP Congress is concentrating on sustainability and changes in urban mobility that are requirred with the world's population set to double by 2050.

The internationally proven control technology solution PSItraffic controls and optimises the use of vehicles, monitors the entire infrastructure and assures efficiency. The depot management system provides an intelligent optimisation for greater efficiency of drivers and vehicles.

The network control system PSIcontrol controls and monitors overhead line systems. An integrated energy management system optimises energy generation and transmission from the power plant to the feeding of the overhead lines.
