  • The EU has launched a campaign which aims to demonstrate how acting on climate change can improve people’s quality of life. The campaign is called ‘A world you like. With a climate you like’, and will promote low carbon initiatives and attempt to enhance climate change awareness. 'A world you like..' is has been formed through a collaboration of more than 70 organisations across Europe and will engage with people interested in sharing their ideas and innovations to contribute to environmentally-friendly practises.

'A world you like..' is has been formed through a collaboration of more than 70 organisations across Europe and will engage with people interested in sharing their ideas and innovations to contribute to environmentally-friendly practises.

The European Commission’s Directorate-General for Climate Action will run the campaign and will also promote cost-efficient solutions to help the EU achieve its target of reducing 80-90% of greenhouse gas emissions by 2050.

The EU's targets include improving energy efficiency and boosting the share of renewables in the energy mix by 20% by 2020.
