Crown Worldwide Group, the world’s largest private group of logistics services, has joined the UN Global Compact
Crown Worldwide Group, the world’s largest private group of logistics services, has joined the UN Global Compact.
Crown will set targets in each of the UNGC’s 10 principles covering human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption, and to be transparent and accountable in its performance with public annual progress reports.
Since being launched in 2000, the UNGC has grown to more than 12,000 participants, including more than 8,000 businesses in about 145 countries.
The Compact ejected 372 companies in the second half of 2014 for failing to communicate their progress for at least two consecutive years, bringing the total number of expelled companies in 2014 to 657.
