20 Nov 2007In a declaration on environmental sustainability at the 13th ASEAN summit in Singapore, ASEAN leaders have agreed
"We intend to work closely with the international community to better understand and adapt to the adverse impacts of climate change, including, in particular, the related issues of greenhouse gas emissions and carbon sinks".
ASEAN will also issue a separate declaration to support the 13th Conference of Parties at the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change to be held Dec. 3-14 in Bali. Read more…
