SUSTAINABLE CITIES IN ASIA-PACIFIC
Autodesk case study addresses how the growth of Asian cities has been responsible for improving the living standards of many, but if cities are not properly managed, the results can be catastrophic. Already, they are grappling with pollution, an inadequate supply of potable water, people living in urban slums and traffic congestion of crippling proportions. In order to address these challenges, cities need to think positively and strategically. Their aim should be to balance sustainable urban practices with the need to provide ever-more people with access to a better quality of life and economic opportunities.
