Climate Action is an international communication platform, produced by Sustainable Development International in partnership with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) that is specifically designed to assist the private and public sectors towards carbon neutrality, as well as providing practical actions to reduce our global carbon footprint. Climate Action was launched December 2007 at the UN climate change conference in Bali.

Newsletter
April 2008 saw the launch of the Climate Action email newsletter, sent on a monthly basis to a database of 14,404 individual subscribers. To receive the free email newsletter, please click here. The newsletter features company information, an update on the progress of the UN towards carbon neutrality, a “spotlight”. Spotlights have covered Energy, transport, ICTs and a special focus on World Environment Day. Future spotlights will be focussed on mechanisms to reduce emissions, finance, forestry and paper, metals and mining. The newsletter also has news events and updates from our partners. It includes a monthly column from Niclas Svenningsen of Sustainable UN, with updates on the process of greening the UN and from UNEP on the Climate Neutral Network. It also includes features and news from our sponsors and supporting partners.
